Pints to Pasta

This run has been voted the best 10k in the northwest for the past eight years! My boo and I ran last year and really liked it a lot. It benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Portland and Tuesday's Children - a nonprofit that benefits individuals impacted by 9/11/2001.

The run starts at The Adidas Headquarters (NoPo) and ends at The Old Spaghetti Factory. This year the course changed a bit due to the Max Line construction. It turned out really well though! We did not train enough for sure, but we finished in 56 minutes so that's inspirational. My boyfriend put it well when he said "Imagine how fast we could do this if we trained."

The drama of the day was that we did not leave enough time in the morning to get there and in the process of running around the house getting ready, we forgot our race badges. Our original numbers were 167 and 168. Luckily they had some extra numbers for us and they will (hopefully) change them online.

I really recommend this race to everyone! At the end you get free pasta, salad, bread, beer (or rootbeer), and Jamba Juice. Plus in our swag bag we got some really good coupons. Try it out next year!
