Mother's Day Shadow Box

My mom has been a huge support in my life. She was there for me when I moved away from home to college in another state. She stayed up late and comforted me when I was lonely or when I was crying from stress over tests/finals/boyfriend issues/friend issues/NCLEX/etc. She was especially proud when graduation weekend arrived. It happened to be on Mother's Day (Ironic?). I decided to make her a memento of that weekend. It included pictures from my graduation and some other crafty bits. It turned out amazing! I had planned on making it that weekend and giving it to her, but that did not happen. I way underestimated how much time I needed. So she received it in July...

*It was hard to get a good picture with the flash bouncing off the pictures.

I used custom stamped paper and I bought some fun cloth dimensional stickers from Jolee's collection. I also used foam stick-ems to prop up some of the pictures to give it a 3D effect. It was really hard to make everything fit. The edges were cut off when the paper was actually put in the frame, but it was not the worst thing that could have happened.

My mom loved the box, even though it was two months late. I love you mom!
